"After 15 years as a motor mechanic (including vintage restoration), I felt that I needed a change of direction. I considered myself fortunate to be accepted by the world famous Newark School of Violin Making in Nottinghamshire, and graduated with distinction in 1995. Since then I have been constantly busy in my Loughborough workshop making instruments for all types of players."
